The “Puzzle City x Comer ─Double Solo Exhibition by Bunny Lai x Julia Lam” will be inaugurated on Saturday, 1 April, at 12pm, at the Lakeside Gallery at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN, featuring a number of oil paintings and illustrations by two local young female artists. The exhibition runs until 7 May. The public is welcome to attend and support local artworks.
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the handicraft workshops (April to June) of the “Nam Van Lake Craft Market” will be held from 1 April to 18 June, at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN, located at the Nam Van Lake Square, Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van. Online registration is available from today. Fee for each handicraft workshop is MOP50.
Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) appeared at the 21st Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) currently held in Hong Kong, as they led a delegation representing several film and video production companies from Macao to participate in the event. A cocktail reception entitled “Experience Macao Cinematic Style” was held by MGTO in FILMART today (13 March) to present local film and video productions, as well as distinctive locations as ideal backdrops for films in Macao. Exhibitors and film media were invited to the reception whereby to connect and explore partnership opportunities with industry professionals from Macao.
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and co-organised by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, this year’s “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 21 to 23 April, and from 28 to 30 April 2017 at Tap Siac Square. The Craft Market stall registration is open from 9 March (Thursday) and all cultural and creative entities and individuals are invited to register, in order to showcase and sell their original brands and products. The registration deadline is 5:45pm, 27 March 2017 (Monday).
Anim’Arte NAM VAN is jointly managed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Sports Bureau, and the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT), under the governance of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao S.A.R. Government. Currently six commercial spaces at Anim’Arte NAM VAN will be leased by open tenders. These six commercial spaces are designated for four cultural and creative shops and two catering outlets. The lease period is 48 months and tenders can be submitted from today until 5 p.m. on 13 April 2017 (Thursday).
The Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries and the Division for Planning and Developing Cultural and Creative Industries, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), will be relocated to the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, located at Tap Siac Square, Macao, on Monday, 27 February 2017.
